World Tree of Spanish Cay

$20.00

I don’t know if there is a technical definition of a “World Tree” but for me, a World Tree stands apart from other trees. It is a solitary tree whose roots are as wide as their branches. This world tree, found on a tidal outcrop on Spanish Cay in The Bahamas, was a beautiful example of world trees. Because of their solitary nature World Trees offer welcome gifts to all who come to them. From the microbes in the soil, to the insects in their bark, and the birds who rest in their branches–world trees are beacons of generosity to all.

This product is an original digital photograph taken by the artist on a visit to The Bahamas. Digital work is available for download three times over a period of seven days. Mock up image included, however, please note, this is a digital file only.
