About my practice:
I have been reading tarot for nearly 20 years–at first secretly while attending a conservative Christian college where I suspected that I would be kicked out of school if anyone from the college found out I was doing something so obviously evil. As the years went by my love of the cards grew, and my need to hide them diminished. Now I love sharing my reading practice with others and feel honoured to offer my reading in a professional capacity–and yes, maybe a bit rebellious still.
As an artist I appreciate the role visual language provides us with accessing parts of our psyches which can be otherwise illusive through verbal language. I also appreciate the role of symbols as aids to self discovery. Many of the symbols that are in the cards have been present in our collective human history for thousands of years and precede written language.
Each deck offers unique wisdom specific to each artist, reader, and querant–and every reading offers pathways to explore questions with depth and vulnerability. I love being a part of these journeys holding space the magic that unfolds when meeting together with the cards.
