Photo of the Day: Line in the Sand

A solitary tree holds the space between water and shore

Today’s photo comes from a small sandbar lying just west of Great Guana Cay. While I learned the name of the cay as “Shell Island” it is named on Google Maps as “Titi Sand Bar” part of the Spoil Bank Cay. This sandbank was once home to stand of trees, however, all that remains of them are the drift wood tangle of roots and outliers like this one.
