I have learned that my boat is not named the Analucia but the Stacia! I am considering a renaming from Stacia to Anastacia–which is fitting because Anastacia means “Resurection.”
I have also learned a little about my engine, stripped off the wall cladding mostly down to the fiberglass, and learned about bulkheads! It’s been a full week.
Next week is the big one. Next week she will be craned from the water and dry docked. This will be the critical moment where I learn if there is anything wrong with the hull that could compramise the project. If all is well, then I will place my material order and sprint into the work for a September move in.
