One of the most astute comments I have ever received in response to my art was, “your trees are people and your people are trees.”
Until very recently I thought my goal should be for me was to get better at depicting people.
I was wrong. I need to get better at trees.
I am, in fact, a tree photographer. I take tree portraits.
Sometimes I also take pictures of rocks.
